PADI Open Water Course Description

If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course. Day 1: Theory Spend a day in the classroom with your instructor to learn all the theory and safety aspects of diving. You will need to watch a video with 5 sections, also there is 5 knowledge reviews, 4 quizzes and a final exam. You receive a code to register online and then you can read and study the book online before you start the course whilst also completing your knowledge questions. This knowledge is then reviewed and reinforced with videos training sessions at the dive center before your instructor gives you the quizzes and a final exam to complete the theory portion of the course. Day 2: Confined skills: The confined water sessions consist of 5 skill sessions taught in either a swimming pool, or a shallow sandy area with swimming pool conditions. This will teach you the necessary skills and safety procedures to be able to go onto the Open Water. Day 3 -4: Open Water Once you have completed the theory and confined skills it’s time to put all that knowledge into practice. You will complete 4 dives over 2 days reviewing the skills you practiced in confined while fun diving exploring the reefs. Open water courses are available to start any day, 3-4 days in a row or we can schedule the course over weekends or split up the days to suit your schedule.

My family and myself dived with No limit Divers over the course of 4 days, every dive was totally different, and from the moment they picked us up, everything was just perfect. All the dive guides were amazing special thanks to Gary, Doug , Peter and Rob you all made us feel so welcome and comfortable at all times.

I was very nervous before coming here and had almost given up on diving, but here I met the kindest and most competent dive instructors to make me feel calm. Gary Phillips made us feel instantly welcome and was incredibly hospitable. I got Wayne Carr as my instructor for the Open Water course, and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. The most patient instructor you'll meet, with tons of humor. He took his time and made me feel comfortable diving, instead of hurrying through the tasks.

Absolutely the best! Kudos to the most awesome team at Jomtien Dive Center. You really fulfilled your promise in taking care of us and we enjoyed ourselves. Gary, you are an awesome leader and lead by example. We noticed you had so many staff on-hand but you carried our nitrox tank all the way from van to boat. Says a lot and everything about the person you are.

Professional, and incredibly friendly- great dive centre set up, and loves the boats. Food was really good on the boats, and all the staff were great. Would highly recommend anyone wanting to learn to dive in Pattaya to give them a call, or anyone who wants to do some diving in Pattaya. I felt incredibly lucky to have met him and this whole team of divers. Definitely going back!

This is the place to book. They own the boats and many operations do not. Very well organized and responsive. Picked me up at my hotel in Na Jomtien. Boats have bathrooms! They feed you a delicious lunch. They have coffee and tea and water on board. Highly recommend company. They made it easy!

Do not look anywhere else for your diving experiences in Pattaya. Gary and his team are outstanding!! I highly recommend only going to No-Limit & Jomtien Dive Center. they are a great set of people, fun-loving and truly care about each diver/ person on the boat. Can't wait to go back and dive with them again 🙂
