The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to guide to the next phase of being a diver. As you may already have discovered, there are a lot of fun experiences to choose from when Diving, whether you want to dive a wreck, deep, or take digital snapshots to share with your friends and family, the Padi Advanced Open Water course is the next step for any avid diver. Their are so many option to choose from, it’s really up to you which specialties you are most interested in. The course is really designed to give you a taste of different aspects of diving.

During your Padi Advanced Open Water Diver course with Jomtien Dive Center Pattaya, you will be spending two days on the boat, with one of our passionate Padi professional diving Instructors. You will complete five Specialty dives. PADI requires you to complete the Deep Diver and Underwater Navigator specialty dives, as part of the specialties after all, you are becoming a more independent diver also everybody loves a deep dive. Besides the two required specialty dives, you will get a chance to choose the three remaining specialties that you would like to do.

Course Description

The Padi Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about making your diving more relaxing and better. It’s designed to advance your diving to a higher level in many specialties. this is a great course to start directly after taking your Padi Open Water Diver certification. The course is designed to help build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of our fully qualified Padi Instructors. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving.

Get your credit ! Each Adventure Dive may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding Padi Specialty Diver Course. If you’ve already taken a specialty diver course, ask our instructors if you’ve earned credit for an Adventure Dive.

There are quite a number of specialties to choose from it’s really up to you, at Jomtien Dive Center Pattaya we recommend, Aware Fish Identification, Wreck Diver, Drift Diver, Digital Underwater Photography, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. Why you ask, It’s because Pattaya’s islands offer some of the best opportunities to hone your skills in each of these specialties. if you would like to choose your own specialties from the Padi Advanced Open Water list, please just ask one of our PADI Instructors and we will be more than willing to facilitate that for you.

My family and myself dived with No limit Divers over the course of 4 days, every dive was totally different, and from the moment they picked us up, everything was just perfect. I was very nervous before coming here and had almost given up on diving, but here I met the kindest and most competent dive instructors to make me feel calm. Gary Phillips made us feel instantly welcome and was incredibly hospitable. I got Wayne Carr as my instructor for the Open Water course, and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. The most patient instructor you'll meet, with tons of humor. He took his time and made me feel comfortable diving, instead of hurrying through the tasks.

Absolutely the best! Kudos to the most awesome team at Jomtien Dive Center. You really fulfilled your promise in taking care of us and we enjoyed ourselves. Gary, you are an awesome leader and lead by example. We noticed you had so many staff on-hand but you carried our nitrox tank all the way from van to boat. Says a lot and everything about the person you are.

Professional, and incredibly friendly- great dive centre set up, and loves the boats. Food was really good on the boats, and all the staff were great. Would highly recommend anyone wanting to learn to dive in Pattaya to give them a call, or anyone who wants to do some diving in Pattaya. I felt incredibly lucky to have met him and this whole team of divers. Definitely going back!

This is the place to book. They own the boats and many operations do not. Very well organized and responsive. Picked me up at my hotel in Na Jomtien. Boats have bathrooms! They feed you a delicious lunch. They have coffee and tea and water on board. Highly recommend company. They made it easy!

Do not look anywhere else for your diving experiences in Pattaya. Gary and his team are outstanding!! I highly recommend only going to No-Limit & Jomtien Dive Center. they are a great set of people, fun-loving and truly care about each diver/ person on the boat. Can't wait to go back and dive with them again 🙂
